Sello Malatji - CEO of Rothe Plantscapers wins award while making local impact

GroFin SA client Rothe Plantscapers wins Regional Productivity Award while making local impact

“We have a great story to tell and I impress on all of us to continue writing this great STORY!” Sello Malatji, CEO – Rothe Plantscapers.

GroFin South Africa investee Rothe Plantscapers has won gold in the Productivity SA Gauteng Regional Awards. As a regional winner, our client was automatically entered as a finalist for the National Productivity Awards, where Rothe won a recognition certificate.

In South Africa, Productivity Month (October) is a yearly campaign and its primary aim is to galvanise companies into adopting productivity as a fundamental tool to be more competitive. The purpose of the month is also to highlight the importance of productivity in the country, how it contributes to economic growth and job creation.

At the National Level, Rothe was the only local company competing against multinationals. The overall winners were announced during the gala dinner awards function held on the 21st October at Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand, Gauteng. The awards body considers critical parameters such as growth & development, environmental impact, quality, safety & working environment, social impact, sustainability and productivity, to declare a winner.

Being a relatively new business (just over 5 years), we hope that next year Rothe will win the National Productivity Awards. We extend our full support to entrepreneur Sello Malatji in leading Rothe Plantscapers to even greater heights in the sustainable landscaping field in South Africa.
